My path wasn't linear —
and that's exactly the point

I'm Jeneva Hall — a career coach and L&D consultant who helps individuals find their direction and organisations build people capability that actually sticks. I came to this work through fashion showrooms, classroom observations, corporate training rooms, and a lot of questions about why so many workplaces leave their people behind.

MY JOURNEY

From fashion to facilitation —
people were always at the center

I started my career in the fashion industry — supporting showrooms and events in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. It wasn't where most people would expect an L&D consultant's story to begin, but it taught me something that's shaped everything since: you have to read people quickly, adapt constantly, and understand what someone needs before they fully know how to say it.

Education was always close to me personally. My mother has been an educator for most of my life, and growing up around that shaped how I think about growth, support, and what it actually means to help someone learn. It wasn't a leap into L&D so much as it was finally arriving somewhere that made sense.

As I moved through corporate learning environments — across education, gaming, tech, and enterprise — I kept noticing the same gap: organizations were delivering information but not designing for learning. The training happened. The application didn't.

AN HONEST NOTE

I know what it feels like to doubt yourself — and keep going anyway

I know what it feels like to doubt yourself, to feel behind your own timeline, and to let the fear of getting it wrong keep you from moving. That lived experience isn't separate from my work — it's what makes me genuinely invested in yours. I'm not coaching from a place of having it all figured out. I'm coaching from a place of knowing what it takes to keep going anyway.
